NICHOLSON MODEL SAILING CLUB

Despite the forecast of Thunder Storms, Rain & Hailstones as big as chook eggs ? the day turned out to be just about perfect, with a 10-15 Kts South Easterly, blue skies, 8 Yachts, 16 members, 1 hairy Jack Russell and a visitor or two

The usual 6 Races were contested with yachts dropping out with a a multitude of problems that only 3 boats could take to the water in the last race

Some of the problems to arise were for example  "F*#!">Winch won`t work" ? "Intermittent Binding,

  "Bugger Me the Boat is sinking", ( 2 litres of H2O in a 4 kilo boat) ?, "Dunno? it just wont work? and rigging troubles

All in all a great social day with lots of the usual Laughter etc

The Results

  1st David Meldrum winning a pennant and and a RED 10 second penalty for the next race

2nd Ken Nichols (who also won the Fishing Contest as well)

   

3rd Peter Elsmore ( who only got wet up to his Knees today) Refer back to "October 22nd Page"
