EDEN Whale Festival October 29th-30th 2016

At the invitation of Ian Whiter and the Twofold Bay Yacht Club. 12 N.M.S.C. Club Members made the 300 k trip to the town of EDEN on the New South Wales south coast to be part of the celebrations in their

10th Annual "Whale Festival"

Ian Whiter, who is a local model boat builder had the idea of staging a Model Boat Static display and Model Yacht Sailing demonstrations and Racing to be incorporated as part of the Whale Festival every October and if this year is any example it is sure to grow into a terrific annual event.

The Twofold Bay Yacht Club allowed us to set up a terrific display of Model Boats in their Clubhouse overlooking Quarantine Bay and the locals came to look at the display and were provided with

Hot Coffee and hot scones and a variety of cakes

On behalf of the Nicholson Model Sailing Club I would like to thank Ian and the Yacht club for giving us the run of their club house and putting on a terrific display of model craft and a very enjoyable

March 2016 Invitation to NMSC from Eden Model Sailing Group

12 NMSC Club members made the 300k trip to the beautiful seaside town of Eden in NSW at the invitation of Ian Whiter and several of his friends who are avid model Boat enthusiasts

We all enjoyed several days of sailing in Quarantine Bay and camping in the Garden of Eden caravan Park.

The Eden sailors did not have to try very hard to persuade us to return to Eden for the "Whale Festival" in October 2016
